From a small Douala initiative to a Cameroon-wide non-profit.
How we started
4 Betterment was founded by a group of Cameroonian educators and healthcare workers who saw how poverty was robbing children of their futures. We began with a single after-school program in Bonamoussadi, Douala.
Where we are today
Today we run five integrated programs across more than 40 communities, serving thousands of children with the help of local staff, volunteers, and a global community of sponsors and donors.
